Graduate Fees

Unlike many institutions, Truman will not charge you fees typically associated with attending classes on ground. Additionally, as part of our flat-rate tuition plan for Counseling, you will not pay the customary online course fee or special program fees. Students may incur fees for specific elective services they request, such as the services of the Counseling Center.

Changes

Tuition and fees are subject to change by annual review of Truman’s Board of Governors.  Tuition rates, if any, are announced in June and students are informed before the start of the Fall term.

Financial Aid

Students pursuing Truman’s  Master of Arts in Counseling  degree are eligible for federal financial aid programs. You must take 9 credit hours per semester to qualify for full-time aid and at least 6 credit hours per semester to qualify for part-time aid.

Graduate assistantships and institutional scholarships are not currently available for these programs.

For more information on Financial Aid and how to apply for aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at (660) 785-4130 or finaid@truman.edu. You may also wish to explore Financial Aid’s Resources for Graduate Studies page.
