Truman’s theatre minor allows you to learn the principles of theatre production through hands-on experience. Here, you can work among seasoned professionals while performing, designing, directing, choreographing, painting, sewing, researching, and more. The casts for the theatre productions include students from all majors from first-year students to seniors.
Courses in the program range from acting, voice, and stagecraft to makeup, costuming, and scene design. You also gain a firm understanding of the history and literature of theatre as well as technical strategies and playwriting.
