What is Gender Inclusive Housing and Why is it Important?
Gender inclusive housing allows for students to live together regardless of biological sex. It is intended to provide a welcoming environment and safe space for students of all gender identities and expressions to live and thrive on campus.
Housing assignments are typically made based on biological sex, however we recognize this practice may not meet your needs. For that reason, we offer Gender Inclusive Housing options as well.
This housing option is available to students who feel they would be more comfortable in a gender inclusive apartment or suite. This option is also available to those who feel they could provide a safe and inclusive space for another student regardless of gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, or any other factor.
