The Accounting Program at Truman prepares students to succeed in the rapidly changing workplace they will encounter. Truman’s Economics Program combines theoretical and practical knowledge you can apply when approaching complex, real-world issues. AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education. Less than 5% of business programs in the world are AACSB accredited. The Business and Accounting programs at Truman are AACSB accredited (Economics and Master of Leadership programs are currently excluded).

VITA
As part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), students are trained in basic tax rules and how to use tax software to prepare tax returns for students and members of the community.
Study Abroad
Students can take advantage of study-abroad opportunities through faculty-led trips or solo exploration. Truman's Center for International Study Abroad offers programs spanning across the globe.

Bulldog Student Investment Fund
Led by Truman students and a faculty advisor, the BSIF is a student organization that manages University funds made available through the generous support of external donors. It provides experiential learning opportunities for students through the research and management of equity investments.
