Admission to Truman State University’s Master of Arts in Leadership Program is selective and based on the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Preferential acceptance is given to those students who possess a 3.00 undergraduate GPA or above. Students who have received less than a 2.75 undergraduate GPA are generally not eligible for admission.
- An acceptable score on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Examination.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Statement of career goals and how the Master of Arts in Leadership fits with these goals.
- Resume.
A complete application consists of:
- Application for Graduate Admission (current Truman students can access the application through the Student tab on TruView; international students please visit the Center for International Students website for the proper application form).
- $40 application fee (see application form). McNair students please fill out the Certification of McNair Participation and Fee Waiver Request form.
- Official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate credit sent to the Graduate Office at Truman State University.
- Official GRE test scores sent to the Graduate Office at Truman State University.
- Three letters of recommendation sent to the Graduate Office at Truman State University.
- Statement of career goals and how the Master of Arts in Leadership fits with these goals.
- Resume.
