Summer Orientation: Becoming a Bulldog

An important step in preparing for your arrival as a new Truman student is to participate in an orientation session. Designed to provide you and your family additional information and support for your transition to Truman, orientation is a required part of your Truman experience.

Additional details will be provided following registration for an Orientation session.

Before You Come

Orientation packets are mailed in March. This packet includes specific information about Orientation and directions on how to complete the Pre-Orientation materials through TruView. Due to the individual attention provided by advisors, we hope that you are able to complete your pre-orientation materials by May 20, 2024.

What to Expect

During Summer Orientation, you will develop your schedule of fall classes with the assistance of academic advisors, faculty in your major, and Office of Admission staff members.

Students will be able to:

  • Talk with student services offices
  • Enroll in fall semester classes
  • Meet other future Bulldogs
