The Master of Arts in Communication Disorders (CMDS) program provides the specialized coursework and practical experience that prepare and qualify successful candidates for careers in speech-language pathology. This program is characterized by high standards, close collaboration between students and faculty, and strong, broad-based professional preparation. Application Checklist
- Application through the Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application System (CSDCAS)
- Personal Statement (uploaded to CSDCAS)
- Three letters of recommendation (submit recommender’s information in CSDCAS)
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities from which you earned college credit, including high school dual credit (submitted/uploaded through CSDCAS)
- Official GRE test scores (optional – sent directly to Graduate Office)
- CMDS Fellowship application (optional – available on the “Questions” tab in CSDCAS application)
Deadlines
Applications for acceptance into the Master of Arts in Communication Disorders program are due on the following dates:
- Fall: June 1 (Priority Deadline: Feb. 15)
- Spring: Nov. 1 (Priority Deadline: Sept. 15)
- Summer: No Summer Applications Accepted
