Whether it’s your 1st time on campus or your 15th, we can’t wait to welcome you for Orientation! Each incoming first-year student at Truman is required to attend an orientation session. Additional details will be provided following registration for your selected session.
2024 Orientation Dates
Orientation session registration for incoming freshman students for Fall 2024 will open on March 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Incoming students can register through their TruView account. Please note: Orientation Sessions are full-day events. On-campus accommodations are not provided. For local accommodations, visit the Kirksville Tourism Website.
- Tuesday, June 4, 2024 – Orientation Session 1
- Monday, June 10, 2024 – Orientation Session 2
- Thursday, June 13, 2024 – Orientation Session 3
- Tuesday, June 18, 2024 – Orientation Session 4
- Monday, June 24, 2024 – Orientation Session 5
- Wednesday, June 26, 2024 – Orientation Session 6
- Tuesday, August 13, 2024 – Orientation Session 7**
Students who attend a June Orientation Session and will be living on campus will move into the residence halls on Wednesday, August 14 between 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
** The August Orientation date is reserved for students traveling a great distance and students with special circumstances that do not allow attendance at a June orientation date.
