Why did you choose Truman?
Ultimately, I chose Truman to challenge my adaptability and for the numerous opportunities available for my desired occupation. Also, I felt very welcomed during my visit especially in the Multicultural Affairs Center.
What is your favorite aspect about Truman?
My favorite aspect of Truman is the relationships that I have built and maintained since my first week in Kirksville. My friends have really bettered my experience at Truman.
What advice would you give to new students?
Don’t be afraid of stepping outside of your comfort zone because in college comfort zones frequently change. You learn so much more if you open yourself up.
What is your favorite experience of your first year?
I enjoyed the various Wal-Mart and fast food runs at completely random times.
