Truman Partners with Publishing Concepts Inc. for Alumni Directory
The Truman State University Alumni Association has partnered with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to produce an alumni directory. Over the next few months, PCI will be contacting Truman alumni via mail, phone and email to update your alumni information.
Truman maintains the highest privacy standards, so we wanted to assure you that your information has not been sold and the requests for updates come from a legitimate partner of Truman State University.
When you are contacted by PCI, you can update your information and indicate whether or not you’d like to be included in the upcoming alumni directory.
We have partnered with Publishing Concepts (also known as PCI) to produce our new alumni directory. PCI is a company located in Dallas, TX that publishes directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation. This project allows Truman State University to receive important updates to our database so we know more about our alumni and how we can better serve you and future alumni.
Truman State University has a contractual agreement with PCI that states:
The names, addresses and information provided to PCI by Truman State University for the publication of the Directory will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the Directory and except as required by court order or law.
The Directory will be made available only to alumni of Truman State University. Upon completion of the project, PCI will return to Truman State University any and all electronic files that have been supplied by Truman State University or produced by PCI in connection with the production of the Directory.
If you have received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Truman State University project. The representative will verify all the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed. One of the numbers for the Truman State University alumni is 877-447-1518.
If you have received an email with an embedded link, you may go to the online site to review your information. If you have questions, you may call PCI’s customer service desk at 1-800-982-1590.
When you call to update your information, you can tell the representative what information you would prefer to have excluded. You may also communicate this information to the PCI customer service desk at 1-800-982-1590 or to the Alumni Association.
The University has partnered with PCI on this project at no cost to the University. Truman will get the updated information alumni report at no charge. All costs associated with producing the directory and communications are handled by PCI.
The purchase of a directory and/or any related materials is a purchase and not a donation. The entire amount goes to PCI to cover the costs of compiling data, producing the directory, and marketing materials.
