Mr. Charles Boughton, Instructor, B.S. Business Administration University of Colorado (1980), M.A. Sociology University of Colorado (1984), M.S. Accounting Truman (Northeast Missouri State)(1986), Certified Management Accountant (CMA, 1986) and additional graduate work at both Truman State and Drury universities. This is his second tour at Truman; this fall begins his 15th year at Truman. "When I left Truman the first time, it was to go to work full-time for my favorite consulting client. The reason I came back to Truman was to teach. I love the interaction with students and the challenge of staying current with courses in which the topics are always changing. Interaction with students is my favorite aspect of my job". Boughton is the faculty mentor for the Boeing TRU-Leaders Leadership Academy, the faculty advisor for the Bulldog Student Investment Fund, and the faculty advisor for the NASBA Center for the PublicTrust student chapter. Boughton also coordinates student participation in the CFAi Research Challenge, the DST Systems Gould Award competition and various other student research activities.
