Laura received her MFA, with an emphasis in printmaking, from the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, and a BA in Hispanic Studies and Studio Art from Colorado College. She is originally from Boulder, CO. Laura spent the 2015-2016 academic year teaching art at the University of Nevada, Reno. She now heads the printmaking area at Truman State University. Her artwork investigates the intersection between humans and the natural world, often in regard to our day-to-day dependence on raw materials.
