Because of the broad nature of the discipline of agriculture, multiple student organizations exist for nearly every area of interest for agricultural science students attending Truman State University:
- Alpha Gamma Rho
A social and professional fraternity primarily for agricultural science majors though students pursuing other career paths may also pledge. - Collegiate Farm Bureau
Chartered in 1999 as the fifth chapter in the state, the Collegiate Farm Bureau adds a new dimension to campus agriculture organizations. - Delta Tau Alpha
This organization promotes and recognizes high standards of scholarship, leadership, and character among agriculture majors. - Equestrian Team
Affiliated with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), Truman’s Equestrian Team attracts students interested in competing in either Western or English disciplines. - Pre-Vet Club
This club is for both agriculture and biology majors. - Sigma Alpha
