Internships and Career Preparation
As a Truman student, you start building connections to the professional world through internship opportunities ranging from top accounting firms, to movers and shakers in the automotive industry, to working on public health issues in Haiti. We’ve sent students all across the country and around the world for internships.
Truman sponsors the Missouri Government Internship in Jefferson City, and the Harry S. Truman Presidential Museum and Library Internships in Independence, Mo., and is affiliated with The Washington Center Internship Program in the nation’s capital.
Thanks to our small classes, you get to know your professors who can help you explore career options and provide grad school advising. In addition, the Career Center will work with you to find options that match your skills and interests to the right workplace. A network of more than 64,000+ Truman alumni living around the world serve as career contacts for internship and job opportunities.
