Who Can Apply:
Open only to United States citizens who (at the time they take up their Scholarship) hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States with a minimum GPA of 3.7.
Award Amount:
University fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse. Up to 40 Scholarships awarded annually.
How to Apply:
Notice your application will not be complete until all components are complete and received.
1. You must be nominated by your area’s faculty representative. Contact your representative to see if you may be considered for this nomination. Your representative will also be able to give you more information about the nomination process.
2. Once you are nominated by your faculty representative, you may begin the online application process. You will be able to track the progress of your application online.
3. You will need four letters of recommendation. Recommendations need to be obtained from individuals who know enough about you to assess your personal characteristics, motivation, and potential for a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering.
4. If selected as a finalist, you will be asked to attend an interview.
All materials must be submitted by the appropriate due dates. See list of important dates and deadlines; keep in mind that dates for campus deadlines may be earlier.
