AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts)
American Institute of Graphic Arts is an organization geared toward Design Program students to further their knowledge and experience in the graphic design world. Students of all levels of Design are able to mingle and learn from fellow students. Meetings are held on a weekly basis to prepare for visiting designers, special events or fundraisers.
Membership is open to all Truman students interested in graphic design, and dues are $65 per year. This is a national membership fee that allows students to be included on the national AIGA roster, as well as be on AIGA St. Louis mailing lists for special events and activities.

Art History Society
Art History Society is a club for any student with an interest in art history. We provide a place not only to talk and share ideas about exhibitions, artists, and courses but an active group that plans trips, interdisciplinary seminars, and services for the Department of Art.
Past and present activities include, but are not limited to, weekend excursions to museums and galleries in Columbia, Chicago, and Des Moines; interdisciplinary presentations centered around the Sistine Chapel and China; and informational presentations about art historical graduate school programs and internship/research experiences.

Bad Acids (Printmaking Club)
Printmaking Club is open to majors and non-majors who have a desire to print. The printmakers raise money each year for the organization through various sales throughout the year. The Printmaking Club also is a yearly participant at the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival. See the Kirksville Arts Association for details.

Clay People (Ceramics Club)
Clay People is an organization of Ceramics majors and all other interested students. Besides enjoying this shared interest in ceramic art, Clay People earns money from sales each year to spend on things like purchasing equipment for the studio, bringing in visiting artists, and helping with student fees to attend workshops and conferences. In previous years, for example, Clay People funded six students to attend the National Council On Education In the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) international conference in Louisville, KY.
Sales of student work are held in early fall at the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival, and once at the end of each semester.

Fibers Club
Fibers Club is an organization of Fibers majors and all other interested students. Fibers club participates in sales of fiber artwork throughout the year and participates annually at the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival.

Kappa Pi Honorary Art Fraternity
Kappa Pi is an international honorary art fraternity with the purpose of uniting artists who care about art in its role in life.
